Ballet

Aoife started ballet today. She was very excited. In fact all day she kept asking ‘how long till ballet?’

They do half ballet and half tap. Aoife is particularly happy because I have said she can wear her tap shoes in the house and practise on the wooden floors. As they are going to get re-sanded in a few weeks I don’t care if she scratches the floor!

On the way home Aoife wanted to know when she would do ballet again and was disappointed she has to wait another week.

She has had a severe case of ‘missing daddyitis’ tonight and didn’t want me to go out. So much so that she had a tummy ache and was moping around.

I’m pretty certain she is not sick. She wouldn’t touch any of her dinner but thought a ginger bread man might help her feel better.
