Playing nicely

Hugo and Aoife just adore each other. They really keep each other entertained.

Today they were rolling things across the floor and laughing.

Then they cuddled each other.

Mouse traps are for mice….

not kids!

Earlier in the week Hugo got his fingers covered in glue from the mouse trap. Tonight Aoife climbed off the sofa and got her foot in glue.

Yes I did give in and allow Martin to put the glue ones down.

The mouse has managed to evade the concussion inducing ones- though it has set them off.

As I don’t like cats it has got to be time for the poison.

If anyone has any evidence that Labradors or Spaniels are good mice catching breeds that would be helpful.

Poor stock control

We’re run out of onions again. I’ve searched everywhere and we really have run out. I was hoping we would get some in our veggie box yesterday, but we didn’t.

Not a big deal running out of onions, but everything that I wanted to cook for dinner needs onions.

Hugo is asleep so I can’t run out and get some and I wanted to get dinner on while he was sleeping.

It seems like we are always running out of onions. I must just buy some every time I see them. That way we will always have some!

It is just frustrating as I am really tired and I can’t face dragging both kids out to the shops at this time of day.

Oh well- Aoife has just played the recorder so loud that Hugo has woken. Maybe we will go shopping after all…..
